Global solar installations surge as PV capacity exceeds 1.6 TW
SolarPower Europe has published its Global Market Outlook for Solar Power 2024–2028, confirming that 2023 marked another milestone for the global photovoltaic sector. Solar installations worldwide increased by 447 GW over the year, pushing cumulative PV capacity beyond 1.6 terawatts and reinforcing solar energy’s central role in the evolving global power mix.
